1. The terms consumer and sink port are interchangeable, with the sink port referring to the unit emulating a device that draws power (e.g., phones or laptops).


2. The terms provider and source port are interchangeable, with source port referring to the unit emulating a device that provides power (e.g., chargers or power banks).


3. Each virtual charger can support multiple different profiles listed under supported profiles as a provider.


4. The maximum current, speed, and cable latency are determined by reading these parameters from the e-marked chip rather than through direct testing. Speed testing, however, can be performed by connecting a loopback device, such as the Passmark USB2 or USB3 loopback plug.


5. DFP refers to Downstream Facing Port.


6. For simultaneous power and data testing, a loopback device, such as the Passmark USB2 or USB3 loopback plug, is required.
